I have partnered with the Allegheny County Department of Human Services to spread the You Can Do Anything message to children that utilize their Care centers.  The Allegheny Department of Human Services provides families with early learning and after school programs, food assistance, homeless services and adult employment training.  Their mission is to help our most vulnerable community members.  My mission is to inspire primary age children to believe in themselves and continue to thrive despite the global pandemic.  We have identified 180 children from the Hilltop, Hill District and East Liberty Care Centers as our recipients. Our goal is for each child to receive a You Can Do Anything book before they head back to school. I am personally donating 40 Lailah’s Lesson and JoJo Dream books in this effort.  We will need 140 more books to reach our goal, which brings our fundraising total to $1400.  I am asking my family, friends and community to donate $10, which is the cost of one book.  Please donate and you will make a difference!
